Should I create a new Facebook profile if my current one is not under my real name?

It's generally recommended to use a Facebook profile under your real name to comply with Facebook's policies and maintain authenticity. If your current profile is not under your real name, you can change it to match your real name. Keep in mind that Facebook allows name changes only once every 60 days.

You can abbreviate your name (e.g., from "Christopher" to "Chris") to match your credit card. However, if changing your name on your current profile is not an option, you might need to create a new profile using your real name. This helps ensure compliance with Facebook’s policies and reduces the risk of your account being flagged or restricted.
